Bora was honored to be the official designer of Miss Universe 2004, Jennifer Hawkins. The most glamorous and well-known global competition, the Miss Universe pageant, sponsored by Donald Trump, was held June 1st 2004 in the city of Quito, in
Ecuador. Jennifer, Miss Australia 2004, wore Bora's exclusive designer gowns throughout the pageants pre-social events but her presence did not go unnoticed in the events most popular, evening segment. Jennifer wore the most innovative high collar gown, with the modestly low neckline and wrap-style belt lhas thousands
of hand-sewn crystals, beads, diamontes and pearls, beaded onto the gold antique lace. Complemented with exclusive decorative hand-made Bora accessories. Bora looks forward in having an ongoing role in future Miss Australia events and we congratulate Miss Australia on her high achievement.

BORA¡¯S MEDIA ATTENTION
  BORA¡¯s stunning and unique creations are in higher demand than ever with well-known TV personalities and music stars flocking to have the opportunity to be dressed by Bora. Last year we saw Big Brother host Gretel Killeen wear a one-of-a-kind Bora creation of exquisite pearl, lace and Swarovski crystals at the Final Eviction of Big Brother 3. Kay McGrath modeled an elegant Bora design while hosting the annual Butterfly Ball and also chose to wear Bora later that year at the Lord Mayor¡¯s Christmas Carols by Candlelight. Bora was also featured in Ally Wood's new music video and on a special segment of the Great South East called ¡°Princess for a day¡±.

 

Bora's ongoing role in Miss Universe

Sixteen-year-old Australian, Lauryn Eagle, was crowned Miss teen international, 2005 in an exquisite Bora outfit in Costa Rica, November 2004.

Bora has developed an ongoing role in all Miss Australia and Miss Universe events and will once again be dressing the Miss Australia, 2006 in the Miss Universe competition to be held in Thailand, May 2005.
